From October to March the evening walk happens in the dark, and a dark-coated dog twenty metres ahead simply disappears. Reflective strips help when a car's headlights happen to point the right way, but they do nothing at all until then.
The GlowTrail LED Dog Harness lights itself. A fibre-optic strip runs over the chest and along both sides, glowing bright enough to be seen from any angle — which is the point, since cars rarely approach from directly in front.
Underneath the light it is a proper harness, not a glowing band draped over a dog. Padded straps, adjustable buckles and a steel D-ring for the lead mean it does the everyday job too.

Why You'll Love It
💡 360° Visibility
The lit strip wraps over the chest and down both flanks, so the dog is visible from the front, the side and behind. A reflective patch only works when a light is aimed at it; this one is its own light source.
🎨 Eight Light Colours
Red, blue, green, pink, ice blue, yellow, white and a cycling multicolour mode, each selected by pressing the button. Different colours stand out against different backgrounds — white on a woodland path, red on a lit street.
🔆 Steady Glow or Slow Flash
Steady light is easier on the eye for walking together; the slow flash catches attention faster at a roadside. The brightness also dims steplessly, so a quiet lane does not need full power.
🔋 7 Hours on a 90-Minute Charge
A full charge takes about an hour and a half from any USB source — wall plug, car charger, power bank or laptop — and runs for roughly seven hours. That is a week of winter walks between charges.
🦮 Steel D-Ring for the Lead
The lead clips to a D-ring on the back, so the harness replaces your usual one rather than being worn alongside it. The pull is spread across the chest instead of the neck.
🧥 Also Works as a Plain Vest
With the light switched off it is simply a padded harness, which means it stays on for daytime walks too. There is no swapping kit at the door depending on the hour.
🔧 Adjustable Buckles
Neck and chest adjust separately, so the harness can be set properly for a deep-chested dog or a narrow one. Fasten it over the back, slide it to fit, and it stays set.
🌧️ Built for Real Walks
The casing closes over the charging port with a soft cover, which keeps rain and mud out of the socket. Remember to press it shut after charging.
📏 Four Sizes
XS through to L cover small dogs up to large breeds. Measure both neck and chest girth and go by the chart above — extra-small breeds such as Chihuahuas are not recommended even in XS.
🚗 Seen Before Heard
Most near misses on an unlit lane come down to a driver not seeing a dog at the edge of the beam. A moving light at knee height is recognised much earlier than a dark shape.
Winter Walks Without the Worry
Charge it once before the first walk, pick a colour and a mode, and it will get through most of the week. The cable is in the box.
Measure your dog's neck and chest before ordering — the chart above allows for 1–3 cm of measuring error, which is usually enough, but a size out is a size out.
