DryDen Foldable Pet Drying Box

The worst part of washing a dog is not the washing. It is the ten minutes afterwards, when a wet animal runs through the house and you follow it with a towel.

The DryDen Foldable Pet Drying Box is the bit that goes between the bath and the sofa. A 52 × 52 cm breathable cube with mesh windows, a zip door and a round port in the side that takes the nozzle of an ordinary hairdryer.

Dog goes in, dryer goes into the port, warm air circulates around them instead of being aimed at one spot. It folds flat with one push when you are done.

Good to Know

🤐 Door: full-length zip
🎨 Colours: several blue finishes and a grey

Why You'll Love It

🌀 Warm Air All Round, Not One Hot Patch
Inside the box the air circulates rather than blasting a single spot. Drying is more even and the animal is far less likely to get too hot in one place.

🛋 The Running-Through-The-House Problem, Solved
A wet dog has one plan and it involves your bed. Twenty minutes in the box and the plan is no longer a problem.

📦 Flat In A Second
It collapses down and goes behind a door or under a bed. It is not furniture you have to find room for permanently.

🙀 Cats Too
Cats who hate the dryer being pointed at them often cope fine with a box that simply becomes warm. No one is holding them.

🔌 Uses The Dryer You Own
There is no motor and no plug. Your own hairdryer does the work, which also means nothing to break and nothing to charge.

👀 You Can See Them The Whole Time
The mesh sides mean you are watching, not guessing. Unzip and it is open in a second if they have had enough.

🧺 Not Only After Baths
Out of the rain, after the beach, or as a quiet corner for a nervous animal when the house is full. It gets used more often than you would think.

🧽 Wipes Clean
The fabric sheds hair and wipes down, so it does not hold damp dog smell between uses.

🐕 Small And Medium Animals
At 52 cm a cube it suits cats, kittens, puppies and small breeds. A large dog will not fit comfortably — worth measuring first.

🧘 Quieter Than It Sounds
The fabric walls take the edge off the dryer noise, which for a lot of animals is the real objection.

Using It Safely

Keep the dryer on a warm setting rather than hot, and never leave an animal in the box unattended with it running. Check them every few minutes with a hand on the fur, not just a look through the mesh.

First time, leave the door unzipped and let them walk in and out with the dryer off. The box becomes ordinary quite quickly.
