There are stretches in a cat's life when the litter tray stops being the whole answer. The weeks after an operation, a spell of illness, an older cat who no longer always makes it in time, or a cat marking the back of the sofa. None of it lasts forever, and none of it is the cat's fault.

The SnugFit Washable Cat Nappies come three to a pack and go straight in the machine. Each one has an absorbent inner pad backed by a water-resistant outer layer, so what the pad takes up stays in the pad and not in your carpet.

The waistband fastens with a wide hook-and-loop strip that adjusts across the whole range of the size, and the leg openings are elasticated. There is a proper cut-out for the tail, which is what stops the nappy twisting sideways within the first ten minutes.

Why You'll Love It

🧺 Washable, Not Disposable
Three nappies rotate through the wash and keep going for months. One pack replaces a steady run of disposables, and you stop counting how many are left in the packet at nine in the evening.

💧 Absorbent Inner Pad
The pad in the middle takes up liquid and holds it, backed by a water-resistant outer layer. Sofas, beds, cat carriers and the back seat of the car stay dry while the nappy does its job.

🐱 Sized Small Enough for Cats
Most cats measure between 27 and 39 cm around the waist, which is XS or S. The larger sizes exist because the same nappy is made for small dogs — for a cat, measure first and go small.

🔧 Wide Hook-and-Loop Waistband
The fastening strip runs the width of the band, so you can set the fit exactly rather than choosing between three fixed positions. Cats are narrow and vary a lot; a proper adjustment is what keeps it on.

🐈 A Real Tail Cut-Out
The hole is in the right place and large enough for a cat's tail to pass through comfortably. Without one, the whole thing rides sideways and comes off before you have left the room.

🦵 Elasticated Leg Openings
The legs are gathered with soft elastic so the nappy sits close without digging in. That is the difference between something a cat tolerates and something they spend the afternoon working off behind the sofa.

🩺 After an Operation
Spaying, a wound on the belly or a stitched area low down — a nappy keeps a dressing clean and in place, and is a good deal less miserable for a cat than a plastic cone.

👴 For Older Cats
An elderly cat who no longer makes it to the tray in time has not forgotten anything. A nappy at night or on bad days keeps everyone's dignity intact and the bedding clean.

🛋 Marking and Spraying
For an indoor cat that has started marking furniture, a nappy is a practical measure while you work out the cause with your vet. It stops the damage without punishing the cat.

🧵 Soft Against the Fur
The polyester outer is light and smooth rather than crinkly, so there is no plastic rustle following your cat around the house.

A Practical Answer to a Few Difficult Weeks

Measure your cat's waist first and compare it against the sizes above — fit matters far more than colour. Too loose and it will not stay on; too tight and it will not be worn for long.

Give your cat a few short sessions before leaving it on for any length of time. Most cats sulk for ten minutes and then forget about it, but almost none accept it in the first thirty seconds.

Three in a pack means one on, one in the wash and one in the drawer 🐱🧺
